Walla Walla Community Book Drive

United Way of Walla Walla, in partnership with Book and Game and Earthlight Books, is hosting a city-wide children’s book drive to aid in the effort to curb the summer reading gap often seen in children from low-income families. Books will be distributed through Helpline, Children’s Home Society, and other local Walla Walla area nonprofit organizations. The book drive kicked off on Saturday, June 30th and will run through the month of July.

Interested in a great way to spend your lunch hour? Check out this annual charity event for our local Helpline. You'll get to help a worthy cause, enjoy delicious soups and take home a handmade pottery bowl of your choice…picking out the perfect bowl is a lot of the fun!
