Executive Director, Christy Lieuallen
A sixth generation Walla Wallan, Christy returned to the Valley after earning a degree in Exercise Sport Science at Oregon State University. She began raising a family and embarked on a long tenure with the YMCA. Her time at the Y showed her how much she loved helping people and working with others to solve problems. Christy came on as the Executive Director of the United Way in 2014. Since that time she has helped navigate change in the organization to create bigger impact through investments into proven programs which address the needs of our community. Bookkeeper & Grants Coordinator, Monica Boyle
Another native Washingtonian, Monica made her way to Walla Walla in 2012. Avid Seahawks fans, Monica and her husband are raising four beautiful children (also avid Seahawks fans). Monica became aware of the United Way and its work whilean employee with Key Technology. Monica wanted to move to part-time when her youngest child was born and made her way to the United Way. She has since become very passionate about the mission. Monica is responsible for bookkeeping and audit preparation, online campaigns and building the impact capacity of the United Way through grant writing opportunities.
